- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Visited 2 days after early spring opening, and with cool windy weather, we had some privacy. Scored a parking spot down at the water, and the roar of the waves drowned out the noise of the highway traffic. The tree survival rate is apparently low at this park, due to rocky conditions and no doubt a serious winter beating - with the sites left looking more like parking lot spaces, than campsites. Staff were friendly and helpful however $42 for an unserviced, less-than-pretty campsite is pretty steep!By Gil Strachan, April 09, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Before the town closed off the adjacent beach and parking, you were able to drive down and park at the beach and go for a swim. So much for freedom, because they closed it off and now you have to either park at the overcrowded public beach or go to the campsite. I have not been to the campsite, and may try it. It sounds better than the beach. I am sad that the town closed off the Rocky beach though. I do not know why they did this but I am irritated by it.By Ang t, December 19, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆It's very close to Blue Mountain where we had an event to go to. That was the only reason we went there and probably the only reason we will go back to it again. Not the usual Provincial park feel. Sites are nice, but, too close to the road to my likingBy Joanne Lenos, September 15, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Great park right on Georgian Bay. Like, our camp site was like 10 meters from the shore with clear views of the water. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the park was clean, and sites were a good size. The sites weren't very private, however, and I did find the road layout confusing, but I managed to find my way out every time. There also wasn't any hiking trails in the park, but you could go swimming and there was a playground for kids.By Shawn Walton, August 05, 2016
